Area covered
Sparktech is based on the Gold Coast, so this is the part of the service area we are closest to. The industrial work here is concentrated in a handful of estates rather than spread evenly across the city.
The northern end around Yatala, Stapylton and Ormeau is heavy on food production, beverage and distribution. Further south, Molendinar, Nerang and Burleigh Heads carry more light manufacturing, fabrication and food processing. Burleigh Heads in particular is where a good deal of our food production work sits.

Two of our published case studies are Gold Coast jobs, both at the Goodman Fielder site in Burleigh Heads.
The first was a 24-hour shutdown to replace the energy chain and cables on a Cimcorp crate robot. The second was a chilled water solenoid that would not run, traced through the control program and down to a fuse mounted out of sight behind an output module on a part-upgraded switchboard.
Both are the kind of work this corridor generates: automated food production plant, some of it old, some of it recently upgraded, all of it expensive to leave stopped.
