Qualified industrial electricians when your maintenance team is short. Annual leave, unplanned absence, a vacancy you are recruiting for, extra shifts, shutdown periods and project workload.
Manufacturing, food production and processing sites across South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
When sites use us
Maintenance teams are usually sized for a normal week. These are the situations where sites bring us in.
Planned leave that leaves the electrical side of the team short, particularly over holiday periods when several people are away at once.
Sick leave and short-notice absence, where the work still has to be covered and the roster has no slack in it.
Cover for the gap between someone leaving and a replacement starting, which in this trade is rarely a short gap.
Additional electrical coverage during a busy production run, a seasonal peak or a period where the plant is running longer hours.
When the team cannot cover the shutdown work and keep the rest of the site going at the same time.
When project work is competing with routine maintenance and something is being pushed back every week.
Capability
The concern with any shift-cover arrangement is whether you end up supervising someone instead of gaining another useful pair of hands. We provide industrial electricians with the background to pick up maintenance and fault-finding work quickly once inducted and briefed on your site.
Equipment we work across regularly:
Site tickets we can supply electricians for:
Electricians are assigned based on the tickets and competencies your site and the role require. Tell us what the position needs and we will confirm what we can cover. Evidence can be supplied for your contractor records.
How it works
Planned notice is preferred and gives us the best chance of covering a requirement properly. Short-notice requests are considered on availability, so it is always worth asking rather than assuming.
Single shifts through to longer arrangements. Short-term leave cover, shutdown and project periods, and extended cover while a vacancy is being filled.
Day, afternoon, night and weekend shift, worked to your site's existing roster.
This depends on the requirement and on current availability. Tell us what you need and when, and we will tell you straight away what we can cover rather than committing to something we cannot resource.
On site
Shift cover only helps if the person fits into how the site already runs. We work within your existing maintenance structure rather than trying to run things independently.
Different sites run different systems, and we expect to work to yours.
We fault find and repair safety circuits, and install safety systems to a design supplied by you or your engineer. We do not design machine safety systems, perform safety validation, or issue safety system certification. We sign off our own electrical wiring.
