Industrial electrician, Tweed Heads and Northern NSW

Licensed in New South Wales as well as Queensland, so production sites south of the border are in scope on the same terms as those north of it.

Area covered

Across the border

Sparktech holds a NSW contractor licence as well as a Queensland one, so sites south of the border are in scope on the same terms as sites north of it. That matters more than it sounds: a lot of Gold Coast contractors stop at the Tweed.

Northern NSW industry sits differently to the Queensland corridor. There is less large-scale manufacturing and more food and beverage production, packing, and processing tied to what is grown and brewed in the region. Sites tend to be smaller, and many run without a full in-house electrical team.

What we do here

Electrical work on Northern NSW sites

Breakdown response

Production faults on plant where there is often no electrician on site, so the diagnosis has to be right the first time.

Electrical maintenance

Planned maintenance for sites that do not carry their own electrical trade, keeping plant reliable between visits.

Shift cover

Additional electricians during peaks, seasonal runs and shutdown periods.

Shutdowns

Electrical work scoped and prepared ahead of planned downtime.

Projects and installations

Machinery installation, line modifications, switchboards and distribution work.

Drives, motors and controls

Fault finding and configuration on drives, motors, sensors and control circuits.

Licensing

Licensed on both sides of the border

Sparktech holds Queensland Electrical Contractor Licence 92460 and NSW Contractor Licence 497362C. A Queensland licence alone does not authorise contracting work in New South Wales, which is why some contractors who advertise the Gold Coast will not cross the border.

For a site at Tweed Heads or Murwillumbah that means you are not restricted to contractors based further south in the Northern Rivers, and you are not dealing with someone working outside their licence.

Licensing, competency and insurance evidence can be supplied for contractor onboarding and prequalification.
